Description
Highlights
THIS… is a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab PreRunner, finished in Radiant Red with a gray interior.
- The attached Carfax history report shows no mileage discrepancies in this Tacoma’s past. It also shows it’s been registered in Texas since new.
- Factory equipment includes cloth upholstery, power-operated windows, power-operated door locks, power-operated side mirrors, air conditioning, and cruise control.
- Modifications reported by the seller include 17-inch ProComp 34 series Rockwell wheels with Pro Comp A/T Sport tires, Bilstein 5100 shocks, an All-Pro Off-Road Baja Style front bumper, BxBuilt LED headlights, a Pioneer head unit, a custom rear seat platform, and window tint.
- Toyota split its global pickup range into two model lines when it released the original Tacoma in 1995. Developed for and built in America, it was a more leisure-oriented model than the work-focused Hilux that soldiered on overseas. The line-up included 2- and 4-wheel-drive models, 4- and 6-cylinder engines, plus regular cab, Xtracab, or Double Cab models. Production ended in 2005.
- Power comes from a 5VZ-FE 3.4-liter V6 engine, rated at 190 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
